Butterfly Effects Signage Complete

I had my first experience navigating Jefferson Parish bureacracy in the form of applying for a variance and permits for these two signs. I used a boom to reach the area above the awning, and used thick upholstery foam and plywood to level out a shelf on top of the awning to prevent myself from slipping. I also wore a harness to try and prevent myself from being hurt if I did somehow slip. ...Another satisfied customer!

Bennie Ratliff: Painting & Poster

I did this portrait of Bennie Ratliff, a Mardi Gras Indian who is wheelchair-bound, in the hopes he can use it to make posters and fans to add to his income. He is a great guy- very inspiring and determined through all the adversity!

The Garuda

Here is another float for Universal Studios that will roll for their version of Mardi Gras this winter. Again, it will be adorned with flowers at the top, glitter, lights, etc. This one was a lot of fun to paint!

Pegasus Float

Here is some float painting that I recently completed for Universal Studios in Orlando. My painting is only a portion of the decorating for the float- it will get props, lights and sparkle by the time they're through with it!

World of Beer

Max Bernardi Murals & More, LLC just completed an exterior signage mural on Julia Street for "World of Beer" just in time for White Linen Night, 2016. They probably would have sold a lot of beer without it, but I'm sure they were slammin' with this this new addition to their street presence!

Orpheus' "Trojan Horse"

I had the honor of repainting the Trojan Horse for Orpheus this year, and knocked it out in 5 days. The wood graining was lots of fun! They were going for a mahogany look, though not too dark (it depends on how it is stained), which has many potential woodgraining patterns. It is now additionally covered with fiber-optic coated shields and rope lights, to mention a few!

Zoo Portraits Finally Completed

I have finally completed all 16 portraits for the Zoo's Carousel, which is up and running again after a gear box break-down. I will post these over a succession of days.
